Marc Viens, MS, CHCP, CMM
Managing Partner/Strategic Operations

 

Marc Viens is Managing Partner and co-founder of Exigent Medical Education and oversees all company operating departments and the execution of all activities. Mr. Viens was previously Vice President and Co-Founder of AXIS Medication Education, Vice President-Operations with the Institute for Medical Education and Research (IMER), a continuing medical education company specializing in oncology CME; Senior Vice President, Sales and Operations for Fanizzi Associates, a leading provider of pharmaceutical meeting and event services; and Vice President-Client Services with The Meeting Architects, a meeting and event planning company focused on conference management and high-end incentive programs. Mr. Viens has also held management positions with the Hilton and Ritz-Carlton Hotel companies. Mr. Viens received his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Master’s of Science degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Michigan State University in August 2017, and a Master’s of Science degree in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics from University of Maryland, Baltimore in May 2022.

Linda Gracie-King, MHS
Managing Partner, Education Strategy/Outcomes

 

Linda Gracie-King is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Exigent Medical Education and oversees educational strategy, instructional design, implementation and outcomes. Ms. Gracie-King was previously President and Co-Founder of AXIS Medical Education, providing leadership and oversight of the company’s educational strategy and product development. Ms. Gracie-King has nearly 30 years of experience in adult education strategy, planning, and curriculum development. She has held multiple leadership positions in medical education and historically served as Senior Vice President of Education Strategy at the Institute for Medical Education and Research (IMER), Senior Vice President of Education Strategy at Clinical Care Options, Senior Director of Grants and Medical Education at Millennium Pharmaceuticals (now Takeda), Senior Director of Education at the Oncology Nursing Society, and various manager level positions at Intalere (previously Amerinet). Ms. Gracie-King received Bachelor of Science and Master’s of Health Science degrees in Community Health Education Planning and Evaluation from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where she received a full academic scholarship for medical education program planning and evaluation.

Dee Morgillo, MEd, MLS(ASCP), CHCP
Chief Accreditation and Compliance Officer

 

Ms. Morgillo is responsible for the management of the Accreditation Department team, ensuring that all company activities are compliant and meet accreditation and compliance guidelines. Ms. Morgillo previously served as Vice President, Accreditation & Compliance for AXIS Medical Education, Vice President, Inquisit, an Education Department at Intalere (previously Amerinet), directing a team of adult educators, program coordinators, and technology experts providing educational seminars and workshops for healthcare professionals; and prior, as Amerinet’s Director, Education, overseeing a program management team that planned, developed, and implemented clinical education programs. Ms. Morgillo also has held the position of Laboratory Education/Project Coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as a member of an interprofessional team composed of laboratory managers, supervisors, and pathologists who executed continuous quality improvement initiatives for clinical laboratory medicine, cytology, and surgical pathology laboratory services. Ms. Morgillo is a professor of leadership at Southern New Hampshire University. Ms. Morgillo received a Master’s degree in Adult Education from Pennsylvania State University, a B.S. degree in medical technology from Gannon University, and is a Certified Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP).
